Tillamook Forest Center (L1)

Enjoy a half-day excursion to the Tillamook Forest Center which is an interpretive and educational center showcasing the historic Tillamook Burn and reforestation efforts. The center is framed by a climbable forest fire lookout tower and a 250-foot long suspension bridge across the Wilson River. Exhibits include hands-on displays and a dramatic movie documenting the fire. Lunch can be eaten inside or outside on a huge deck overlooking the river.
Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls and The Dalles Tour (L2)

Visit many of Oregon’s most famous scenic attractions in one day: Multnomah Falls, the Columbia River, Bonneville Dam and The Columbia River Gorge Interpretive Center in The Dalles. Tumbling waterfalls, incredible scenic overlooks, majestic mountains, and the Oregon Trail await you on this tour. Lunch time will be spent at Hood River, "the windsurfing capitol of the U.S.A." We'll drive you through the downtown area and point out some of our favorite restaurants and then leave you on your own to eat and explore this quaint, compact town. Before heading back to Portland we’ll visit the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, the official interpretive center for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and the Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center Museum to experience the Columbia Gorge from a physical and natural perspective.
Northern Oregon Coast Tour (L3)
Thursday, October 25, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Fee - $70.00 (includes transportation, professional tour guide, and snacks and beverages. Lunch is on your own at Canon Beach)
Journey along Oregon's breathtaking coastline stopping to view local wildlife, pristine beaches and rocky cliff headlands. Learn about natural, Native American and regional history. Stops along the way include a Logging Museum to view historical logging equipment, and Klutchy Creek to view the US's largest Sitka spruce tree -- over 700 years old! While visiting the artist's community of Cannon Beach pick a favorite café to have lunch after which you can stroll along the shore before heading back to Portland via the Wilson River.
Winery Tours in the Oregon Countryside (L4)
Friday, October 26, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Fee - $70.00 (Includes all tasting fees, transportation, professional tour guide, and snacks and beverages. Lunch is on your own.)
Savor award-winning Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Riesling while your designated driver guides you through the rolling hills of the picturesque Willamette Valley. Visits to at least four wineries and a step-by-step tour of the wine-making process are included. Among the wineries to visit are Rex Hill Vineyards and Erath Winery, Oregon's largest producer of Pinot Noir.
