The premier event for reconnecting with fellow friends and colleagues in forestry as well as an opportunity to build new relationships. With each passing year many changes take place at convention but one tradition that remains the same is the ever-popular Alumni Receptions!

Interested in hosting an Alumni Event?

A limited block of reception rooms has been set aside by the Grand Sierra Resort and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. Please contact Marietta Enerio, Meeting and Convention Manager for Grand Sierra at (775) 789-2099 to reserve your room today. Marietta will assign you a reception room and direct you in planning your event.

Each school will be considered a client of the Grand Sierra Resort and set up a separate account and contract with the Grand Sierra Resort for all food, beverage, and audio/visual orders. The Grand Sierra Resort will provide food menus, cash/open bar options, personnel options and pricing for each. Tax and service charges will apply. Each school reception will be listed in the onsite program. If you decide to host an alumni event at a different location, the information will be included in the onsite program as long as it is provided to SAF before August 31, 2008.
