Team Terresense- Forest Carbon Project & Aerial Sensor Technology Workshop

This workshop is designed to be an open forum to discuss the steps necessary for a forest carbon project utilizing the Terresense Inc aerial sensor technology. The aerial sensor methodology was approved in March 2009 by the Chicago Climate Exchange Forestry Committee. The workshop is focused on forest land owners, professional forest managers, verifiers, aggregators, investors, and any other groups involved with a forest projects. The workshop objective is to provide the "nuts & bolts" of a forest carbon project, introduce the Terresense airborne biomass and carbon survey methodology and to clarify the process to encourage forest land owner involvement. Presentations from subject matter experts will cover such topics as: project management, forest certification, trading schemes, aerial survey, 3rd party verification, off-set trading and national cap and trade legislations. As part of the workshop, the Terresense aircraft is planned for display with a sensor technology presentation. A panel discussion and Q&A segment will wrap up the workshop.
